Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief publishes Freedom of Thought report

The Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief has presented his concerns on the right to freedom of thought to the UN General Assembly and has published his report here. Given the scarcity of jurisprudence on what the right entails and how it protects individuals, the Special Rapporteur called on the UN to clarify the scope and content of the right to freedom of thought. The two co-founders of the network were invited to participate in the Special Rapporteur’s consultation. The content of the report will be the subject of the Network’s first event.
